A Vision of Golden India

Globe trotter- Dr. P.C. Lunia has travelled more than 50 countries of the world and whole of India.  He has closely seen the different facets of life in India and other developed countries. Having an in-depth knowledge of the hindrances that have stopped India in regaining its ancient glory and prosperity, Dr. Lunia has compiled all his pragmatic plans in his recent treatise - ” A Vision of Golden India”. Besides “ A Vision of Golden India”, “Sapphire: A Miracle Gem, A Vision of Golden Russia, and A Vision of Golden America” are some other remarkable books to Dr. Lunia’s credit.

The book presents a very comprehensive blue print of making India more developed and prosperous. Dr. Lunia has succeed to convey very complicated ideas and intricate action plans in lucid and very simple English.  He has ventured to delve various subjects of national importance in this book like agriculture, employment, education, tourism, Information technology etc.

This 74 page book proffers Dr. Lunia’s action plan for uplifting the downtrodden and his proposed reforms which he thinks can play an instrumental role elimination of fundamental problems like unemployment, poverty, overpopulation, under -development, political instability and corruption etc. He has proposed a complete scheme for implementing a project for generating Fifty million jobs. He recommends to generate new opportunities of employment by making the best use of modern day technology.  He further advocates that the Government should set up a national TV channel and provide full support for implementation of vocational Video Training Program to help millions of Indians to learn job skills free of charge and earn their livelihood.

Another highlight of the book is the action plan that Dr. Lunia has devised for getting more NRI’s investments in India. He believes that the Government should take initiatives for increasing participation of NRIs and relaxation in duty, 10 year income tax holiday, setting up NRI help line division would go a long way in encouraging NRIs to re-establish their bonds with the motherland.

Dr. Lunia’s idea of eliminating the “Income tax” seems quite unconventional but he has proved his point very convincingly in his book. He trusts that this one action will not only lead India to more prosperity but will also help to curb the growing menace of corruption.

An ardent believer of peace and non-violence, Dr. Lunia has made a sincere effort to address the problem of unending Indo-Pak tension and has urged the Governments of two countries to come together to finalize a mutually agreeable decision to resolve the issue.

According to him, India despite being the largest democracy in the world lacks a stable form of government and this political instability has caused immense damage to the country.  He firmly believes that the presidential form of Government, as prevails in the United States of America is a better alternative to the present political system in India.

The author trusts that his book will still a healthy dialogue among intellectuals, bureaucrats, and businessmen to come together in the positive spirit of patriotism and devise a new course to further elevate the position of India on the international map.

He believes that the noble vision of Golden India is achievable if his suggestions in the book are taken up for constructive nationwide discussion, which in turn would lead to necessary reforms. His meticulous plans in the book support his far-reaching vision and are true testimonials to his vision and wisdom.
